New York Immigration Coalition’s Parent Guide to College
“Your Children Can Go to College…Yes They Can!” was developed by the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) to help immigrant parents understand the college readiness process and begin to help their children prepare for college. The NYIC college guide provides immigrant parents an easy-to-read entry point.

Pre-K Admissions for the 2013-2014 Year
Children born in 2009 who live in New York City are eligible for free pre-kindergarten (pre-K) programs at public elementary schools and community-based organization (CBOs). The deadline for public pre-k programs was April 5. The deadline for CBO pre-k programs is different for each organization. You can find flyers in multiple languages here.


NYC Parent Academy
A collaborative effort with Long Island University to enhance partnerships within school communities to support student achievement by strengthening parent involvement.
