Lunch applications were distributed during the month of September to the students at JHS 185. If you have not returned the lunch application, your child will be required to pay full price ($1.50) for lunch until the application is returned and scanned. The entire process from submission of the completed application, to scanning it, and generating the lunch letter with the amount you are required to pay, takes approximately two to three weeks.

The following procedures have been established for the collection of lunch money:
1. The parent can create a lunch account at the site www.mylunchmoney.com.
2. Create a log-in account by registering at the site with your zip code, select JHS 185 from the list of schools, and enter your child's OSIS# (found on your child's report card).
3. Use a credit card to make a payment to your child's lunch account. Money for lunch will automatically be deducted from the account. (If you would prefer not to use a credit card, you can use a gift debit bank card purchased from a drug or convenience store.)

Payments either in cash or in a personal check made out to JHS 185 will be accepted at school ONLY on the last Thursday or Friday of the month for the upcoming month. The payment for the month of NOVEMBER is due on October 27th or October 28th.

For the month of October notification of the amount due will be sent home on Friday, October 7 and payment collected on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. (Students will not be denied lunch if they do not have their payments in this week.) Reduced price lunch is $5.00 and full price lunch $30.00 for the entire month of October."
